Dropping Toledo in at No. 10 implied that we’re leaving Navy out of this list. The one thing that really put Toledo over the edge for me was their early season win over Arkansas, on the road.

While Navy did have a win at Memphis, and I was a huge fan of Memphis and Paxton Lynch when they were hot, Toledo still has the edge to me. While Navy has a tougher schedule, ranked 62nd compared to Toledo at 75th, it’s also hard for me to get behind a triple option attack, especially if you were to put them up against some of these premier defenses included in this list.

So while it might not necessarily be me totally buying into Toledo, rather me just not buying Navy, to give Toledo the 10 spot and show them some love.
