Another team I’m not really quite sold on, the Florida Gators. They’ve struggled recently, sliding by Vanderbilt, South Carolina and Florida Atlantic.

And when you look at their wins, drowned out by a lulling SEC East, their one big and only win came vs. Ole Miss. Now, at the time of the loss, with Will Grier, I thought Florida was a team that could make a run for the playoff. But at the same time, I had felt that Ole Miss would have had a very good shot at winning that game had it been played in Oxford, or even a neutral site.

Right now, it’s hard for me to get behind Florida, but they have a big one this weekend that will really test them in Florida State. A win there could propel them somewhere within the top eight, and then they have the SEC Championship Game waiting for them on December 5th as well.
