4. Michigan (9-3, 6-2)
2015 started slow and ended with a crash, but Jim Harbaugh still made amazing strides in Maize and Blue. The Wolverines second half letdown against Ohio State proved an anomaly when compared to the rest of the season with close losses to Utah and Michigan State mixed among a number of dominant performances in winning nine games for the first time since 2011 (11-2). Michigan should draw an attractive bowl assignment.
3. Ohio State (11-1, 7-1)
Could the No. 3 team in our Big Ten Power Rankings also be the best team in the country? Save a perfect fall of dominoes across the country and favor from the College Football Playoff Committee, the Buckeyes will not have the opportunity to defend its national title. Ohio State finally flipped the switch on offense and throttled Michigan 42-13. It would be interesting to see if the Buckeyes could win another playoff. We can only guess. See you in Pasadena.
