Ohio State bounced back vs. the Wolverines in a big way, beating Jim Harbaugh by a final score of 42-13. It was a close first half, but eventually the Buckeyes were just too much on both sides of the ball. The man of the hour was none other than Ezekiel Elliott, bouncing back from his lackluster performance last week, this time going for over 200 yards.
Aside from the performance last week, Elliott had run for 100-plus yards in every game this season, and did so averaging over six yards a carry. The Buckeyes won’t be playing the Big 10 Championship Game, so Ezekiel Elliott has done all that he can do to win the Heisman.
He’s someone who should definitely get a bid to New York City, but the way other candidates performed, it’s hard to believe that Elliott did enough to even crack the top two.
