The Cougars were clearly not the same team without Luke Falk. Given their success without Connor Halliday, and the emergence of Luke Falk, you would have thought that Mike Leech was able to just plug and play in his air raid offense.
That was not the case. Washington State’s offense had no sense of direction, and their quarterback play drowned them out early in the game. Turnovers killed them, and the Huskies took advantage of them. This team without Luke Falk, looks like the same old Washington State we’ve seen over the last few years. But with Luke Falk, this team top 25 worthy, and if he’s back from his concussion for the bowl game, the Cougars will be back on track.
