13. Tulane Green Wave – Willie Fritz replaces Curtis Johnson

Willie Fritz replaces Curtis Johnson who went 3-9 this season and only 1-7 in the competitive American Athletic Conference and I think he’s going to turn this program around. Fritz comes to Tulane after going 17-7 the last two seasons at Georgia Southern and was the 2014 Sun Belt Coach of the Year.

Before arriving at Georgia Southern, Fritz was the head coach at Sam Houston State and led his team to the FCS National Championship Game in 2011 and 2012. His team ran a triple option attack out of the shotgun and pistol so that offensive identity should make the Green Wave an absolute nightmare to prepare for during the season.

Tulane has a brand new on-campus stadium that opened in 2014 and this program has had success before and I think they will again with Fritz bringing his 193-74-1 career record to New Orleans.
