With Justin Fuente bringing some excitement to Virginia Tech, Allen might want to consider playing under him. Fuente worked with Paxton Lynch throughout his career at Memphis, and now Lynch may be the top quarterback in the 2016 NFL Draft and potential No. 1 overall pick.
When you look at the Hokies depth, Virginia Tech isn’t working with much. Although, Virginia Tech hasn’t been the same program they were back in the 2000s. The program has only had one 8-win season in the past four years, this coming after having eight 10-win seasons dating from 2004-2011.
Virginia Tech gives Allen his power five school, where he will be able to start immediately. Fuente might be able to build something back up at Virginia Tech, and Allen could help put the Hokies back on top.
