What the heck is the Quick Lane Bowl? It’s the bowl that was the yet-to-be-named Detroit, Mi. bowl last season.

A Michigan team is playing in it…that’s something…and it would have been nice to see former Minnesota coach Jerry Kill be able to finish out the season and finally notch his first bowl win in six tries. Instead, we’re left with this.

Minnesota’s simply a better team, and the Chippewas have struggled against lesser ones this season.
