Hopefully the reason you’d watch this bowl is because you wagered on a few of the prop bets and the game outcome. Not much else reason to see the Sun Belt take on the MAC in a postseason bowl.
Still, the Mountaineers put together a pretty respectable season in a less than respectable conference, with wins over…well, they only lost two games, one of them being to Clemson. The Bobcats lost four games, with their only signature win coming over Northern Illinois.
This will be a fairly forgettable game in a bloated bowl season.
Line: Appalachian State, -7
Take the Mountaineers and any points up to 10, they are clearly a better team than the Bobcats and should easily win this game.
