Arkansas State vs. Louisiana Tech

The New Orleans Bowl has actually given us some entertaining games in the past, and 8-4 LaTech against 9-3 Arkansas State might keep that tradition going.
Both teams can score, and score a lot, with Arkansas State putting up 41 points per game, and LaTech tallying an average of 34 points. On the same token, both teams give up between 26-28 points per game on defense.
There’s a strength against strength matchup in this game as well, with Arkansas State ranked 14th in the nation at 236 yards per game on the ground and LaTech ranked 9th nationally in rushing defense, giving up only 114.5 yards per game. This game will have to come down to who can throw the ball and/or defend the pass.
Advantage there goes to Louisiana Tech.
Line: La Tech, -2
Take the Bulldogs from LaTech to cover those two points any anything up to 7. Their passing game will be too much for the Red Wolves to deal with.
