MAC vs. MWC, 7-5 vs. 6-6. A matchup about as exciting as a bowl of mashed potatoes, and with less starch.

Let’s just get this one over with. Both teams play middle of the road defense, while Akron has been much more efficient offensively this season. Both lost to every Power-5 team they played this season, and both were up and down playing within their respective conferences.

Talk about a coin flip. Perhaps edge goes to Akron for playing in a tougher(?) conference.

Line: Utah State, -6.5

Don’t ask me why, but I like the Zips to cover in this one. Utah State has only won once in Boise since 1977, and while the Zips aren’t quite the Broncos, I’ll defer to the Smurf Turf curse.
