N.C. State unveils sharp alternate uniforms for Belk Bowl (Photo)

The N.C. State Wolfpack released photos of the uniforms they will wearing in the Belk Bowl.

North Carolina State is set to play in the Belk Bowl against Mississippi State next Wednesday, and they are going to do so in style. They unveiled the jerseys they will be wearing for the contest via Twitter, and they look pretty sharp if I do say so myself.

The black pants, Pack in Black two-tone-black-and-red helmet, and white tops all look stylish. Combine that with the wolf-adorned cleats and you have yourself a nice presentation as the ‘Pack prepare for their bowl game. The wolf cleats will be making their debut for this game and they are certainly the fashion statement.

My favorite part of the uniforms would have to be the wolf cleats.  It is truly amazing what they can put on cleats nowadays and especially when I can remember when cleats were just your basic color scheme, this is even more impressive to me.

The Wolfpack will try to win their second bowl game in a row after beating UCF by a 34-27 score in the Music City Bowl last year.

It will be exciting to see more uniform announcements in the days ahead. I am sure there will be more as teams break out their Saturday best, in what for some is the final game of their season.

Oregon started a trend and now it is taking the rest of the country by storm so we shall see what other new uniforms come about in 2016, and if it is anything like 2015, it should be an exciting time for all.
