Antonio Longino led the Sun Devils and proved to be a force on the defensive line all season long. He led the Pac-12 in sacks, finishing the regular season with 10, adding 19.5 tackles for loss, also best in the conference. Longino racked up 60 tackles, swatted the ball down at the line twice, and forced a fumble.

Although this defense saw some tough times this season, giving up nearly 35 points a game, Longino proved to be a bully on defense, and could often pick up the slack. This was a very talented defense, that somehow just couldn’t pull it all together when it mattered, giving up 34 points or more eight times this season.

While some could argue that Jordan Simone was the MVP, and the leader of the defense, or even Salamo Fiso, but Longino served as a true pass rush threat for Todd Graham, and exploded onto the season as the devil backer. The redshirt senior was named Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention, and is likely a future NFL Draft pick.
