National Signing Day 2016: Predicting where top 30 uncommitted recruits sign
6. Demetris Robertson
- Location/High School: Savannah, GA./Savannah Christian Prep
- 247Sports Composite Rank: No. 16
- 247Sports Position Rank: No. 1 WR
With 29 teams extending him offers, the bidding war is high for Demetris Robertson. Georgia and Notre Dame are the two frontrunners for his services, and while Notre Dame is still very much in the discussion, all signs point to him favoring the Bulldogs on Signing Day.
The ’16 Georgia troop stands 16 commitments strong and two of them are of the five-star variety. Pro-style quarterback Jacob Eason (Lake Stevens WA. Lake Stevens Senior) and tight end Issac Nauta (IMG Academy. Bradenton, FL) headline a class that is ranked No. 5 nationally and No. 2 in the SEC per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
What Roberston would bring to Georgia is a wideout who has sure hands and impressive leaping ability. He is very good at getting off the line of scrimmage quickly and getting ahead of his man. The combination of him and Eason together is something that should make Georgia fans very excited. For that reason, he would be a tremendous asset for Georgia and has the talent to create a lot of buzz in Athens.
Prediction: Georgia
