Extremely agile for a 306-pound defensive lineman, Adams helped fill a need by playing defensive end early during the 2014 season and posted 43 tackles with five TFLs and three sacks, as well as 17 quarterback hurries as a sophomore.
Back inside on a permanent basis as a junior, Adams posted solid numbers in 2015 with 44 tackles, three tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. A potential mid-round draft pick had he decided to enter the 2016 NFL Draft, Auburn received huge news in January when Adams announced he would be back to anchor the Tigers’ defensive line as a senior in 2016.
