College football teams matched with the perfect celebrity fan
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Ah, the grand old program of Notre Dame. Part of college football history and lore. Hated by as many as it is loved. Tradition, championships and NFL stars all emerge from the hallowed shadows of Touchdown Jesus.
But with all of their fanfare and boasting, the Fighting Irish haven’t been able to win a championship since 1988 under Lou Holtz. Irish fans are loyal, even a bit cocky, despite not having acheived the type of success the program was used to having.
Since Brian Kelly took over for the rotund mistake known as Charlie Weis in 2010, he’s raised the Fighting Irish back to a place of relevance in the nation, including a trip to the BCS National Championship in 2012-13.
A long tradition of success, a long dry spell, and a program becoming strong once again. Notre Dame, we give you…
