Michigan State Spartans

The Michigan State program along with head coach Mark Dantonio are the ultimate blue-collar combination. The Spartans don’t always win pretty, but they win, and they do it with grunts and growls.

There is nothing flashy about the Spartans, and their fans are also as traditional and loyal as they come (as is their marching band). Go Green, Go White is a lifestyle in East Lansing, and cheering for Sparty becomes part of some serious tailgating madness.

Hard-nosed defense, and old school smashmouth football are the hallmarks of the Dantonia era, and Michigan State has become the big brother to once dominant Michigan over the last decade.
