Brian Bosworth may be more famous for a haircut, B-movie acting career, outspoken personality that resulted with his foot in his mouth on more than one occasion, steroid use and for getting trucked by Bo Jackson in the NFL. However, when he was on the field for the Oklahoma Sooners, few linebackers were as dominant as The Boz.

Bosworth was a two-time consensus All-American as a sophomore and junior in 1985 and 1986 who raised his play in the big moments. He was the winner of the first two Butkus Awards as the nation’s top linebacker and remains the only player to win it more than once.

He was the first pick in the 1987 Supplemental Draft by the Seattle Seahawks but a shoulder injury ended his career after only two seasons.

Bosworth was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
