Georgia Bulldogs

If Georgia fans thought 2015 was tough to watch, they may want to take up golf on Saturdays this fall. Georgia has a whole new coaching staff (including a new head coach for the first time in 16 years), and they will likely either have a true freshman quarterback or last year’s starter Greyson Lambert under center.

Those two facts alone would be enough to set most programs back a bit, but when you couple that with losing practically an entire defense, it’s going to make things really hard on first year coach Kirby Smart. There’s also the question of how healthy tailback Nick Chubb will be coming back from knee surgery.

There’s a lot of young talent on this team, and how Smart does in his first year as a head coach will tell a lot about how quickly they’ll progress. In 2016, it’s going to be a struggle either way.
