31. . DE. Clemson. Shaq Lawson. 10. player

The New York Giants allowed the most passing yards and had the third-fewest sacks in the NFL last year. The best way to improve both areas at the same time is by taking a disruptive pass rusher who can get to the quarterback before he can get the pass off.

With Hargreaves off the board, the Giants take the second-best 4-3 end in the draft in Clemson’s Shaq Lawson who led the nation in tackles for loss last year. Lawson played well against top competition in Oklahoma and Alabama in the College Football Playoff for the national runners-up and provides insurance in case the Giants lose Jason Pierre-Paul to free agency.
