14. player. 28. . DL. Ole Miss. Robert Nkemdiche

The Oakland Raiders would have loved for Alexander to slide to them here to make up for missing on D.J. Hayden a few years ago, but they still go with a defender here in Robert Nkemdiche. It’s a risky move because of Nkemdiche’s off-the-field concerns, but have the Raiders ever shied away from making a risky pick?

Nkemdiche tested really well at the Combine, as expected, but I have a few concerns about his lack of box score production at Ole Miss. The former top overall recruit should have dominated more than he did the last three years and I wonder if he wants to be a great NFL player, but if he can harness all his physical gifts and the internal switch flips, he can be a disruptive force in the middle while Khalil Mack wrecks havoc on the perimeter.
