QB. North Dakota State. Carson Wentz. 2. player. 53.

It wouldn’t be the NFL Draft without the Cleveland Browns needing a quarterback. After bombing in epic fashion with Johnny Manziel to add to the long list of quarterback flameouts in Cleveland, the Browns have to go back to the well again and take North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz.

He performed better than Jared Goff at the Combine and has the physical tools to develop into a franchise quarterback with help around him. He has two FCS National Championships won as a starting quarterback and was on a team that won two more when he was a reserve and played in a pro-style offense.

The jump from the FCS to the NFL is cause for concern, but it worked out well for Joe Flacco and Tony Romo.
