The Arizona Cardinals stop the free fall for former Ohio State and Eastern Kentucky defensive end/outside linebacker Noah Spence. There was a lot of momentum for the edge rusher heading into the Combine but after running a 4.8 40 that momentum has been squashed and Spence may fall outside the first round after once being a potential top-10 pick.

He comes with a lot of red flags after failed ecstasy tests got him booted from Ohio State and barred from the Big Ten, but the Cardinals have gambled on players with similar issues in the past when they took Tyrann Mathieu. That pick was a home run, albeit not a first round pick, and they could find similar results with Spence here.
