Just a few months ago we were talking about whether or not Charlie Strong would even be back in Austin. Now there’s actually talk about conference titles.

Amazing what National Signing Day can do to boost morale.

But, despite some good young talent, a stellar incoming class, and one of the best coaches in the nation, Texas may have scheduled themselves out of the running in the Big 12. Non-conference games against Cal and Notre Dame are both going to be big tests for the Longhorns, and even if they survive that, they still have to face the gauntlet of Oklahoma, Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma State and West Virginia.

Life ain’t easy when you play in the Big 12. Texas really should be thinking about having more wins than losses.
