Who is this year’s version of North Carolina?

North Carolina came from the middle class of the ACC to the top of the Coastal. We’ve seen similar leaps made by the Duke Blue Devils in recent years, but who will be this year’s version of UNC who goes from 6-8 win territory to potentially competing for a berth in the ACC Championship Game?

Can it be Louisville with Lamar Jackson? at Narduzzi?

How about the Pittsburgh Panthers in the second year under Pat Narduzzi?

Can NC State make a push to the next level after having the ACC’s No. 3 scoring offense last year?

How about the Virginia Tech Hokies who went 7-6 last year in Frank Beamer’s final season?

And then there’s the Miami Hurricanes with Brad Kaaya learning from Mark Richt instead of Al Golden.

I’d bet on one of these five teams getting to double-digit wins this year and making things awfully interesting in late November.
