Should Texas A&M be worried about Tate Martell’s visit to Ohio State?

Tate Martell took an unofficial visit to Ohio State Buckeyes, but should that worry the Texas A&M Aggies who have held his commitment since last August?
Tate Martell is the No. 1 ranked dual-threat quarterback in the nation and committed to Texas A&M back in August, but a lot has gone down at Texas A&M that could result in Martell looking elsewhere to play his college football.
Still, Martell has been firm on his commitment, set to graduate high school early and enroll at Texas A&M for the spring semester, giving him a jump-start.
But Tate is coming off an unofficial visit to Ohio State, a school he has always said is his dream school. He has a lot of family that has emerged out of Ohio State, and the speculation has heated up.
The way it looks now, Martell is still firm on his decision. But, there are still another eight months before he can actually sign and officially become an Aggie. If Kevin Sumlin is on the hot seat heading into the season and can’t perform, this could spell trouble.
And with Ohio State, Urban Meyer has had a huge amount of success with not only his quarterbacks but his entire team and sending them to the next level.
In this upcoming NFL Draft, the Buckeyes will have multiple first-round picks and a dozen guys could be drafted, with most going in the first three rounds or so. If that’s not a recruiting pitch for recruits these days, I’m not sure what is.

It’s hard to gauge what exactly a 17-year old kid is thinking and how he stands, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Tate Martell flip to Ohio State at some point.
Unofficial visits are they to recruiting these days, mostly because it’s all on based on the initiative of the recruit. Official visits are just a process and many recruits take their official visits even if they are committed, taking advantage of what is offered to them.
