Ryan Leaf will forever be known as the guy who was taken right after Peyton Manning in the 1998 NFL Draft. He started nine games as a rookie, winning the first two of his career.

But he was going through some extremely inconsistent performances, as he finished with a completion rating below 45 percent in three of those games. He finished the season with two touchdowns and 15 interceptions.

His missed the entire 1999 season due to a head injury suffered on the first day of minicamp and was placed on injured reserve. Leaf was still a starter in 2000, starting nine games throughout the season, winning just one game. 2001 would prove to be his final year in the NFL, starting in just three games and losing all three.

He finished his career with 14 touchdowns and 16 interceptions, going 4-21 as a starter.
