The California Golden “Bear Raid” Offense might not be looking so hot this season. No Jared Goff, Bryce Treggs or Kenny Lawler. The Bears will be without their top six receivers from last season, leaving almost no hope.

But flip over the defensive side of the ball and you’ll find Damariay Drew, a senior safety. He racked up 70 tackles for the Bears in 2015, including four tackles for loss and two interceptions.

Much like their offense, their defense will be losing quite a few important pieces, especially in the secondary. After having a breakout season last year for the Bears, Drew will come out to be a name you should know before the Pac-12 season kicks off.
