This is a huge game for UCLA and the Pac-12. Any time the Pac-12 gets a chance to knock down the SEC, which isn’t often, that’s something to get excited about. This is a heck of a game to open up the season and you’ll probably be thinking how it only comes up as No. 3 on the list.

Texas A&M has had quarterback issues ever since the first day of the offseason. Kevin Sumlin named Oklahoma transfer Trevor Knight the starter after the Aggies spring game filling a spot that would have gone to Kyle Allen or Kyler Murray who transferred.

Meanwhile, UCLA is returning a Heisman candidate in Josh Rosen. The former No. 1 quarterback recruit enters his second season as the starter after completing 60 percent of his passes for 3,660 yards and 23 touchdowns to 11 interceptions.

Heading to Kyle Field is no easy task, but the Bruins have a decided advantage att the most important position in the game. This is a statement game for two teams coming off 8-5 seasons.
