Christian McCaffrey is must watch television. Despite not having an answer for the heir apparent to Kevin Hogan, you would think that KJ Costello emerges as the signal caller. And with McCaffrey in your backfield, that makes things a lot easier.

That brings us to a matchup against Notre Dame in mid-October, with the Cardinal traveling to South Bend. Much like the USC-Notre Dame matchup previously mentioned, you would hope that both teams are still undefeated or at least in the playoff conversation.

While it has no bearing on the Pac-12 for the Cardinal, this is a huge game that will give them some big time momentum heading down the home stretch of their schedule.
