Oregon doesn’t typically get a winnable non-conference game against a Power Five team but this year they might have a chance. A typical non-conference schedule for the Beavers would include Portland State, Eastern Washington, San Jose State.

Last season, Oregon State scheduled Michigan and almost came away with the win, but came up short. But now the Beavers will be heading to Minnesota in one of the first games on the season.

The Beavers are super young and without a starting quarterback right now, but this could be a game that the Beavers steal to start their season with some confidence and a solid win over a Big Ten foe. Oregon state is a team that is always just one quarter away from stealing the ball game. In the season opener, this is their chance for Gary Andersen to make a statement.
