This is a great measuring stick for the Cougars. They’re only one of two Pac-12 North teams to bring back their starting quarterback and they have a good one in Luke Falk running their air-raid offense.

The Pac-12 North is going to be ultra competitive this year and the Cougars could make another run for the title.

This road game at Boise State is going to tell us a lot about the Cougars and how they will fare this season. But still, it will be too early to completely judge this team.

We saw Oregon collapse last season and then come out to be one of the best teams in the nation at the end of the season or Stanford after they lost to Northwestern in week one.
