Pac-12 Football: 12 best non-conference games of 2016
By Gabe Encinas
Arizona has a lot of questions this year. After winning the Pac-12 South in 2014, they had a disappointing season riddled with injuries in 2015. Now, they’ve cleaned up house on the defensive side of the ball and look to bounce back to their 8-plus win format under Rich Rodriguez.
Who comes out of the quarterback battle is still unclear at the moment. But they’ll have a full slate of offensive weapons healthy and ready to go. The new defense should be a lot more aggressive under Boise State’s former Defensive Coordinator, Marcel Yates. That alone should help the Wildcats defensively, as getting pressure up front has always been an issue.
It’ll be a fun opening weekend matchup, especially being played in Glendale at University of Phoenix Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals.
