Some Georgia football fans upset Ludacris performed at spring game
Most UGA fans were thrilled Ludacris performed at their spring game, but a few took to the internet to complain in the most ludicrous ways possible.
Most Georgia fans were thrilled that Ludacris performed at their G-day game in front of a record 93,000 fans, a few however just had to be sticks in the mud.
All names have been covered by a tiny cartoon Ludacris, to protect the not so innocent. I’m sure all these folks still would have complained if it had been a country singer right?
The always wonderful AJC got the complaining party started right!
Which led to a plethora of Mark Richt lovers to coming out to play.
Well, Mark Richt also didn’t like to perform in big games so…
FACT: you should judge the success of your new coach on who performs at your spring game.
Would Mark Richt approve of 93,000 fans at a spring game? Would Mark Right approve of the forward pass?
Safe to say UGA wouldn’t be performing in big games still too, so you win some and you lose some.
There are still some seriously wacky Mark Richt cult followers at UGA. Next year was going to be the year wasn’t it?
The following comments were posted to the official Georgia Athletics and Georgia Football Facebook pages.
No other football events have stars perform at them, especially not big ones like Super Bowls.
I’ve been to a game at UGA, the only way to not hear the filthiest dog cussing imaginable at Sanford Stadium is to be legally deaf.
WON’T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!
Some fans were less bashful with their racism.
I’m sure UGA can also do without you.
If only they hadn’t had Ludacris perform, it could have been 93,001 fans!
This is the ad this grammar nazi is complaining about…
In the end, whether it’s Ludacris or a food drive some UGA fans are just still upset about Mark Richt.
Richt is gone folks, I know change is scary, but he’s gone. I realize that you thought Mark Richt’s 16th year was going to be the charm, but you need to let go.
These were good for a laugh, but the vast majority of UGA fans are excited about the future of the Georgia Bulldogs, and they should be.
