Letitgo – Oklahoma Sooners

Tell-Tale Lyric: Who cried? Who cared? Foolish pride
Never was a good seat at any of this man’s shows

A lot of music written by Prince was a plea for people to live and let live in peace and love, and the often-bashed album Come gave us a flowing R&B hit which spoke to that belief in the single, Letitgo.

It almost seems like Prince wrote this one for Bob Stoops.

C’mon man, let it go. All the hate for the SEC, all the conspiracy theories, all the us against the world mentality…just, relax, and let it go.

When the Sooners are who they are, they are quite successful as 2015 showed. But then again, it’s easy to be successful in a conference without defense. Stoops and the Sooners should stop whining about the SEC and do what several programs in the Big Ten have done, and that’s imitate their game plan and recruiting strategies.

Let it go, Bob. You be you, and let everyone else do the same.
