William Jackson didn’t get the pre-draft hype that Jalen Ramsey, Vernon Hargreaves or Eli Apple received but he’s in their class as a potential shutdown cornerback.

In fact, CBS Sports Pete Prisco ranks Jackson as his top corner in the draft, so to get the top corner in the draft with the No. 24 pick is an incredible value and an outright heist from the Cincinnati Bengals.

With a division that has Ben Roethlisberger and Joe Flacco trying to prevent the Bengals from another playoff appearance, Marvin Lewis knew he needed another player in the secondary and he got a good one in Jackson.

Jackson led the nation in pass breakups last year, including one game when he had a whopping six breakups. That’s more than some corners have in a season.
