Week 1: Alabama vs USC in Arlington, TX

Update: College GameDay is headed to Lambeau Field in Week 1 for LSU vs. Wisconsin.

Week one and rivalry week are the toughest GameDay locations to pick because there are so many compelling games. However, when it comes down to the wire, the defending National Champion should get the privilege, right?

Alabama is in another position to make a run for the College Football Playoff while USC could be in a position to do some big things of their own.

In my opinion, this will be the toughest opener for Alabama since facing Virginia Tech in 2009, although Michigan had a good year in 2012 when they faced the Crimson Tide.

The College GameDay crew will likely be split between picking Alabama and USC as the victor.

Ole Miss vs Florida State, LSU vs Wisconsin, and Oklahoma vs Houston are some other candidates for Week 1.
