Mountain West Conference

Contenders for the Cellar: Wyoming Cowboys, Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors, Fresno State Bulldogs

Pick For Last: Wyoming Cowboys

2015 Record: 2-10, 2-6 MWC
2016 Prediction: 2-10, 0-8 MWC

Fresno State will continue to fall, and Hawai’i will be pretty darn bad, but Wyoming will look at this schedule as probably the main reason they eventually decide to join Idaho in falling back to the FCS level.

The Cowboys have been pretty pitiful for a number of years (no winning seasons since 2011), and the level of competition around them in the Mountain West has continued to get better.

Wyoming will probably beat UC Davis, has a shot at beating Eastern Michigan, but everything on either side of those week three and four games looks to be an absolute drubbing. They don’t play Hawai’i this year, so that might be the one saving grace that keeps them tied for the bottom of the Mountain West.
