PAC-12

Contenders for the Cellar: Oregon State Beavers, Colorado Buffaloes, Arizona State Sun Devils

Pick For Last: Oregon State Beavers

2015 Record: 2-10, 0-9 PAC-12
2016 Prediction: 1-11, 0-9 PAC-12

This one is quite simple. Oregon State is so far behind the curve in the Pac-12, they’d need two seasons of improvement just to beat the next worst team, Colorado.

For all the Beaver fans in Corvallis who bellyached about Mike Riley (now running the show in Nebraska), the old “be careful what you wish for” is now in play.

The Beavers have a likely win against Idaho State, but beyond that early-season game, it’s hard to see them being competitive at all for the remainder of the season. Their other non-conference games are against Boise State and Minnesota, neither of which will lie down for Oregon State.

Gary Andersen’s second year as head coach will be just as traumatic as year one.
