The North Carolina Tar Heels had a stellar 2015 as they were the ACC Coastal division champions. But the question concerning North Carolina entering the 2016 season is if they can repeat as Coastal champions?

If they want to repeat as division champions, they will need new starting quarterback Mitch Trubisky to live up to preseason hype.

Trubisky has so far been a career backup at North Carolina. But whenever he has seen the field for the Tar Heels, Trubisky has been impressive. Last year, Trubisky completed 40 of 47 passes that he attempted for 555 yards, six touchdowns, and no interceptions.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound signal caller is replacing one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in North Carolina history in Marquise Williams. However, Trubisky possesses the skill set to operate the Tar Heel offense at a high level. And Williams believes that as well.

Trubisky could turn out to be the biggest story of the 2016 college football season if he pans out like people expect him too.
