  • Last Season Record: 8-5 Overall, 4-5 Pac-12
  • Season Opener: Hawaii (in Australia) | Aug. 26
  • Key Games: Washington, at USC, UCLA, Stanford

The Golden Bear offense last season was solid, finishing second overall in league scoring and total offense.

But that was with Jared Goff. And he’s in the NFL.

So Cal is looking to find a way to replace him, and improve upon last year’s 8-5 finish. However, it won’t be easy.

Texas Tech transfer Davis Webb is going to take over the offense, but he’s lacking help. The six-leading receivers from last season are now gone, and Cal will have to rely on new, young players to step in.

As of now, this team could end up either way. If Webb and the offense mesh well and find success, then Cal will have a good season. But if the Golden Bears can’t make the offense click, it could be a struggle to make the post season.
