Pac 12 Football: Preseason 2016 Conference Power Rankings

The Sun Devils finished with a losing record last season, which brought a lot of disappointment to the program.
This season is critical if the Sun Devils want to stay in the top half of the conference — and they have potential to do it too.
The offense, though, has a lot of question marks. The Sun Devils are without a quarterback, bringing uncertainty to the entire offense. Plus, the top-two receivers and most of the offensive line from last season are gone.
The defense is slightly better. With a solid group returning on the defensive line and linebackers, the Sun Devils shouldn’t have a problem putting pressure on the ball. However, they’re young in the secondary, and that could kill them later on.
So while Arizona State has potential to contend in the Pac-12 South, it’ll take some convincing to sell me on them.
