No. 7: Tom Hart

  • Current Assignment: SEC Network
  • Previous: Atlanta Braves, Fox Sports, ESPN, Big Ten Network, CBS Sports

Tom Hart is one of those rare mixtures of incredible voice, great personality and deep sports knowledge. He became a regular face and voice for college football working for Comcast Sports Southeast from 2003-20011, and is now doing play-by-play on the SEC Network.

Hart’s voice is clear, his calls accurate, and like many others on this list, he takes game preparation very seriously and has worked hard to fine tune his craft.

Another man of many hats, Hart has worked college football and basketball, MLB and minor league baseball – taking care of play-by-play, analyst, clubhouse reporting and studio anchor on his various stops.

If you’re an SEC fan and you see that Hart is scheduled to call your game, be thankful. You’ll have an enjoyable experience.
