We sometimes forget that terrestrial television and radio aren’t the only mediums to find great voices for the sport. Internet and satellite radio are home to some top quality talent, such as Rachel Baribeau.

Baribeau, an Auburn graduate, is a college football reporter with an absolute deep-seeded love for the game, and an unstoppable drive which has brought her quickly to the eyes and ears of fans. She’s not afraid of tackling social issues which surround the sport, and has the ability to tell a story unlike many you’ll find.

One of the biggest feathers in Baribeau’s cap was her organizing a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro for former NFL and Alabama fullback Kevin Turner, who suffers from ALS. The climb has since been turned into a movie narrated by Mike Ditka.

Rachel’s work on Sirius XM is always fresh and timely, never regurgitating the stale stories you’ll hear all over sports radio, and she’s partnered up with some of college football’s greats on her show.

The monthly cost of Sirius XM radio is worth it if only to be able to listen to Rachel and her radio partners.
