2. Bo Scarbrough has more than 150 rushing yards

Another year another running back. The Alabama Crimson Tide have lined up excellent back after excellent back, dating back to the years of Mark Ingram. This time around, the Tide start another highly-touted back.

The difference is that Bo Scarborough has yet to have his coming out party. I believe we won’t wait long, as his game against USC will be a preview of what’s to come. For most Alabama fans, the quarterback situation has more questions, though. At least at running back they know who will be the starter midway through the season. Scarborough is the guy and will continue to be the guy unless the injury bug strikes.

Don’t get me wrong, USC is a good team. They will be putting everything on the line against the Tide. And what a sweet victory it would be for the Trojans. Even though Alabama comes in as one of the best teams in the nation, the Trojans want an upset. They might get it too. With Adoree Jackson on your team, anything is possible.

I think Alabama is still the better team, though. Perhaps to the surprise of many, USC will be in the game when it goes to halftime. After the half, however, the Tide will start to pull away. This is when Scarborough will thrive behind the Alabama line. By the time the game is over, Scarborough will have more than 150 yards on the ground.
