Alabama Crimson Tide

First of all, thanks for Joe Namath and Kenny Stabler, Alabama. We owe you for those two gems.

And just like the Crimson Tide seem to always be in the hunt for a title, they also always seem to send more players to the NFL than anyone and recruit more top players than anyone to replace them.

Since Nick Saban took over in 2007, Alabama has had an amazing 58 players drafted to the NFL, with 18 of them being taken in the first round. That makes your chances of landing a sizeable paycheck pretty good if you play in Tuscaloosa.

But with all those first round picks, there have been quite a few who just didn’t pan out, with 10 of them never really living up to their top round expectations, especially the number three overall pick in 2012, running back Trent Richardson – who went from Heisman glory to being the bane of every fantasy football owner’s existence in just a few short years.
