First Overall Picks: Sam Bradford (2010), Billy Sims (1980), Lee Roy Selmon (1976)

Other Notable First Round Picks: Gerald McCoy (2010), Trent Williams (2010), Jermaine Gresham (2010), Adrian Peterson (2007), Davin Joseph (2006), Jammal Brown (2005), Tommie Harris (2004), Roy Williams (2002), Keith Jackson (1988), Brian Bosworth (1987), Tony Casillas (1986), Rick Bryan (1984), Jerry Tubbs (1957)

Boomer Sooner jumps in at number four, and the NFL player machine in Norman keeps on cranking out some talent.

You want to measure some success as a coach, then look no further than Bob Stoops. Along with the numerous conference and national titles to his credit, Stoops has seen an incredible 80 players have their names called on draft day since coming to Oklahoma in 1999.

In 2010, the Sooners dominated the first round, with four players taken, including number one overall pick Sam Bradford.

But busts are a part of the game, and while the jury is still out on Bradford’s career, Brian Bosworth has to be viewed as one of Oklahoma’s biggest busts. Not so much for being taken in the supplemental draft – which was essentially Boz’s fault for sending letters to so many teams stating he wouldn’t play for them – but for the way his career just imploded from the start.
