Yes, Minnesota. The Gophers have produced a lot of NFL talent, although very little of it coming in the way of flashy, recognizable stars, and only 16 first-round picks in the history of the program.

Still, if your goal is to play on Sundays, you stand a pretty good chance of finding your way there as a Golden Gopher.

If you look down through the draft history out of Minnesota you’ll find a ton of offensive and defensive linemen, including center, Ben Hamilton, who had an outstanding career with the Denver Broncos

The biggest bust in Minnesota history would have to go to running back Darrell Thompson, who left the Gophers as their all-time leading rusher, but never lived up to the expectations of the 19th overall pick by the Packers in 1990.
