The Buffaloes haven’t seen a lot of success in recent years, but for a time they were one of the powerhouses in college football and produced NFL talent on a regular basis.

One thing is certain about Colorado’s draft history –  they’ve produced a lot of running backs and wide receivers, particularly during the Buffaloes heyday.

The biggest class to ever reach the NFL from Colorado was in 1976, when 11 players were selected, including first-round picks Pete Brock, Troy Archer and Mark Koncar.

The Buffs have seen their share of busts, but none quite as notable as Heisman Trophy winner Rashaan Salaam, who was taken with the 21st overall pick by the Chicago Bears in 1995, and had a very pedestrian NFL career, playing in only 33 career games.
