Western Kentucky v. Alabama (Saturday, 3:30 pm)

Western Kentucky is riding high after a 12-2 season in 2015 and hoping to repeat as Conference USA champions. They’ve found a new quarterback in Mike White, and the defense looked capable as it held Rice to just 14 points and less than 300 yards in the opener. Alabama is the defending national champion and unlikely to fall, but if WKU even keeps it close at Bryant-Denny it could reverberate throughout the sport.
